20 Questions to ask yourself when challenging your thoughts

In my client session today a client asked me 'how do I fight my thoughts and turn off my mind'. I told them that Mindfulness and meditation helps for momentary relief and can start building a general tendency towards stillness and silence. However I also feel it's very important to have the right tools to turn negative thought into neutral or better still, positive ones. So I created this list of questions based on popular CBT questions and a downloadable wallet-size version to keep for yourself to turn to when those negative thoughts come in.
