Overcome fears, anxiety and bad habits with the Power of Hypnosis
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the process of moving beyond your conscious every-day mind and re-programming your subconscious for meaningful change in your life.
If you want to change a habit, a way of thinking or even perform better at something, hypnosis can really help.
Hypnosis occurs through a process of relaxation, ensuring the subconscious is receptive to positive suggestions and fresh perspectives.
You are always in control during hypnosis and will only accept ideas and suggestions that your mind can see are beneficial and healthy, so there's no risk of behaving in a way you wouldn't choose for yourself consciously.
If you do feel excited by the prospect of rapid change, hypnotherapy is highly recommended to complete the puzzle and ensure both parts of you - that instinctive 'doing it without thinking' part and the conscious 'aware' part of you are working harmoniously.
Hypnosis has been shown to work effectively used for anxiety, weight loss and gain, fears and phobias, confidence and self esteem, anger management, improving performance and much much more.
Hypnotherapy can effectively support you in overcoming any mental barrier to your success...
What’s your approach ?
Every therapist works differently with a unique set of tools and approaches. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist I work with many psychological approaches to best support your unique situation. These include: Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Tapping techniques, EMDR, Traditional Counselling and Coaching approaches, Ericksonian Hypnosis, Mindscaping, Energetic Shift Technique and others.
Sessions are informal and, although I do ask some unusual and thought-provoking questions, it’s all happens in a non-judgemental, friendly space where you can learn about yourself and how to get past your current barriers.
Each session is 1 - 11/4 hour and includes 30-40 minutes of practical exercises or talking therapy before 20-30 minutes in hypnosis. You will receive a download of your hypnotic experience to reinforce the change at home.
Sessions should ideally be taken weekly or fortnightly.
What People say about Hypnotherapy
‘This is the first time I’ve been hypnotised. I really enjoyed the experience. I feel calm, soothed and relaxed. Steph explained everything really well and spoke in a calm and rhythmic manner. I felt totally safe at all times. Very very good experience. Comfy sofa too…’
“Since seeing Steph for my phobia of birds I’ve found myself being able to walk past them without much concern, where at one point I couldn’t even bear to touch a feather! When I see a bird now, the phrases and ideas Steph suggested come into my head and calm me down. The suggestions have definitely stuck in my head and helped with a phobia I’ve had for many years”
