A summer programme of fun workshops to support and promote family wellbeing.


Hosted by relax kids coach Anna Whitling and Life and Wellbeing Coach Steph Clarkson at The Red Kite Family Centre, Thame.

Circus Carnival Family Workshop
Tuesday 14th August
2-4pm

This workshop is for the whole family to experience mindfulness and relaxation using a variety of techniques.

Come and join in on the circus fun as we sail high with parachutes, hula hoop our way into confidence building, learn from the lessons of a great circus hero, craft, dance and explore the world of circus whilst finding new ways to relax, let out stress and inspire positive thinking. 

Fun and games - will release pent up energy and reconnect with one another.

Gentle yoga stretches and massage - decrease tension from muscles and increase ‘feel good’ hormones.

Breathing and believing exercises - which stimulates the relaxation response in the mind and contributes to rewiring the mind with positive thought

 Meditation - to lower stress levels and clear the mind.

 


Jungle Adventure Family Workshop
Saturday 18th August
3-5pm

£30 per family of 4

This workshop is for the whole family to experience mindfulness and relaxation using a variety of techniques.

Come and join the adventure through the jungle where you will be tall trees, tangled vines, cheeky monkeys or lazy lions, and learn some of the ways you could help yourselves and each other to calm worries and increase self-esteem; practices that you can then use at home when life gets a little too much.

These workshops are designed to help children think positively about school life helping them find coping mechanisms, let go of the past and build the self esteem to move forwards with confidence. 

 

 

Parents Workshop : How to Create Calm Kids
Wednesday 29th 6-7.30pm

£20 pp.

This workshops looks at some of the techniques and approaches used within the workshops for you to take home. We look at winning ways to communicate with children younger and older, set boundaries and help to calm children whilst boosting self esteem. 

 

 

 


Your Tutors

Our Summer workshops are a collaboration between Stephanie Clarkson Therapies and Anna Whitling of Relax Kids.

About Anna

Anna is a mother of 3 and works part time as a nursery practitioner. She trained as a Relax Kids coach in January 2017 and has run a variety of courses and workshops since. She currently offers one-off workshops and 1:1 sessions and is soon going to be providing a 'Little Stars' class at a local nursery.

About Steph

Steph is a hypnotherapist, life coaching and meditation teacher. Before being a mental wellbeing therapist Steph worked as a college tutor and now specialises with supporting teen and adult mental health.
